Bowdoin Bound is an organization based in Baltimore that focuses on introducing inner-city (mostly African American) children to opportunities outside the confines of their community. Each summer we bring a group of 30 kids to Maine where they stay on the Bowdoin College campus and attend a day camp for five days. We also take the kids on college tours, engage them in critical reading exercises, and SAT prep workshops. The children are in grades 5-10 so they have a broad range of needs.
